A Bit About Us
Our Background
Thames Wire Productions was founded in 1963 and have been producing high quality metal fabrications for the film industry and the building industry ever since.
Specialising in stainless steel balustrades and aluminium, brass and other metals, along with the more usual mild steel. We have produced balustrades for world famous stores and multinational company head offices.
Working to clients designs we have all our equipment in house. For the tube rolling and bending, sheet forming & rolling, as well as machine shop facilities for turning and milling.

Our expertise and our work is well established and well known within the film industry. Both here in the UK and further afield. We have produced countless pieces for film and theatre productions. Often to tight deadlines and to exacting set designers instructions.
Bespoke and Custom Metalwork
We can design and manufacture pieces to exacting customer specification in a wide range of materials, such as stainless steel, aluminium, brass and more as the design requires.
Architectural Metalwork
We have in-depth experience of designing and producing architectural metalwork pieces to customer requirements. We can follow your design through to a finish article. The variety of our metalwork, whether for the home, the office, public building or film industry gives us a unique depth of expertise that can be applied to any design no matter how intricate or fantastical.
